    A really nice day use National Park with easy sealed road access. A few nice walks although the longer ones along the river in the gorge are on soft sand without much shade and can be tough going. The best way to see the gorge however is on the Ranger guided boat cruise that runs every couple of hours. The wildlife is abundant and the scenery spectacular.

    I went on the 4pm trip. The setting sun enhanced the colours of the rocks. Highly recommend this trip, don't forget to show your seniors card if you have one

    Geikie Gorge boat tour a must do. Stunning cliff formations carved out in Devonian age. Beautiful sculpture of nature. Fresh water crocks sunbake on the banks. Jurasic park like walk through the river banks at the kiosk. Easy access and good birdwatching.

    This is a must see if your travelling through Fitzroy Crossing. We even caught a glimpse of some fresh water crocodiles. An amazing experience

    Beautiful and interesting, good boat tour, though some of the other gorges are more rewarding.
